Every Wednesday night Awana children fill our church campus starting at 6:30pm. Each age group has its own handbook for memorizing scripture and earning achievement awards. The kids also play games and have the best night of their week! Awana is for Kindergarten through 12th grade (Puggles and Cubbies are available for Awana staff or onsite Life Group attenders only).
We are so glad you're interested or participating in our Awana Club. We consider it a privilege to provide opportunities for your child’s physical, mental, and spiritual growth.
We want our Awana clubbers to realize that God loves them and that through His Son, Jesus Christ, we can choose to have salvation for our sins and the ability to have a relationship with Him. Learning His Word and obeying Him gives us meaningful and rewarding lives. We accomplish this through Bible memory, games, achievements, and fellowship. Awana also helps discipline clubbers to work, play, and study within their own peer group.
Awana encourages clubbers to attend their family place of worship. However, if you do not have a church, we’d like to invite you to join us here at Christ’s Church.
Parents are invited to visit your child’s club any time – just stop by the check-in table to get your “visitor” button. All children should be picked up at 8:00pm.
AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and comes from the Bible verse 2 Timothy 2:15: "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
