Refuge class is for anyone struggling to find hope due to an ongoing sin issue or prolonged suffering. Our aim is to love and lead hurting people to Christ and to the Word of God. Some churches offer 12-step programs and support groups that address specific issues like substance abuse, divorce recovery, grief, etc. While those types of ministries may provide some help, Refuge will focus on the heart of each person instead of their specific struggle. If you’ve lost our way or just need encouragement and a renewed focus on the truth of God’s Word to get through a tough season in your life—join us on Feb. 4. Or maybe you know someone who needs help. Come find out how you can make a difference while examining your own heart and growing in your own faith as well. Topics include: No Matter Your Struggle… Admitting Your Need... Embracing God’s Mercy... What Rules Your Heart... Finding Freedom... The Funeral... Connected to Christ... Living by the Spirit... Suffering Well... Forgiveness... Leaning In... Comforting Others. “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)
