We are still looking for a few more people to volunteer every other week or once a month on:
Sundays: Nursery (2 assistants at 8:30 service), Preschool (1 teacher at 8:30 service 1x month, 1 teacher at 10:30 service 2x month) and Elementary (1 assistant weekly)
Tuesday mornings: Childcare once or twice a month.

FOUNDATIONS CLASS
Previously “Discover Christ’s Church” Class

The Foundations Class is a four-part series offered at 10:30am on Sundays, Oct. 1st (Part 1), Oct. 8th (Part 2), Oct. 15th (Part 3) and Oct. 22nd(Part 4). It is for anyone who:

  • wants to partner with CCFW as members
  • are newer in their faith and desire to learn the basics of following Christ
  • want to grow in understanding the foundations of their faith

Registration is required and is available online at ccfw.org/theloop 

LIFE GROUP OPEN HOUSE
We want you to get the most out of our upcoming series “Romans: Acquitted by Christ”. In order to do that, we encourage you to join a Life Group. If you are unsure about which Life Group would be a good fit for you, stop by the Ministry Center between services on Sunday, September 17th. You can talk with different Life Group leaders and ask any questions you might have and find a group that works for you. This is going to be a great year, so jump in!

MEN’S FALL BIBLE STUDY  |  Starts Tomorrow, Sept. 18th
Be Real: Turning from Hypocrisy to Truth by Warren Wiersbe is a practical study through the book of I John. We’ll meet on Monday nights, 6:45-8:15pm in Ed Mod 2W. WORSHIP NIGHT | Join us on Friday, September 29th from 7-8pm for a night of musical worship focused on the Gospel and it’s transformative power. All ages are encouraged to join us as we proclaim the name of Jesus together!

FLU SHOT CLINIC AT CHRIST’S CHURCH  | Sunday, October 1st
Receive a free flu shot this year here at church. A registered pharmacist from Walgreen’s will be on hand to administer shots on Sunday, October 1st, 8am-12:30pm in the Prayer Room. Must be 7 years or older. There is no charge for this service; shots will be billed under prescription insurance (a free shot voucher is available for those without insurance). Free pneumonia shots for those that qualify.

HUB: Tuesday Afterschool Outreach | The HUB is launching for the school year again on October 3rd! The HUB is our afterschool tutoring, activities, and Bible Introduction club for all Middle School students Tuesdays in the Children's Center from 4-5:30pm. We need several adults from college age to seniors to commit to volunteering on Tuesday afternoons. If you are interested, contact Eric Rademacher at ecradem93@gmail.com. Also, all middle schoolers are invited to join us at the HUB on Tuesdays, and the rest of the family is welcome to join us at 5:30pm for the HUB Grub.

BACKPACKS NEEDED
Some Sacajawea Middle School students are still without backpacks. The school administration is asking for at least 15 sturdy backpacks, but the more the better! Bring them next week to the foyer.
