military family support (MFS)
Under the leadership of John & Mary Sutherland, Military Family support is a ministry that was developed to encourage family members of deployed soldiers, pray for them, and help our church family remain aware and respectful of the military within our church body. Along with prayer and notes, packages are sent seasonaly. You can submit the name of a family member serving, and also bring donations as requested.
Military Family Support (MFS) exists to
- Minister to those who have deployed family members
- Act as a liaison between MFS and the leadership of Christ’s Church
- Heighten awareness of and respect for the military within the church body
- Personally commit to prayer for the ministry team and for those to whom they are ministering
