Brion & Connie Frakes
Awana club blends Bible teaching, Scripture memorization and tons of fun to impact the lives of kids, parents, and communities. In a given week more than one million children and youth and 250,000 volunteers participate in over 17,000 churches in the United States and 109 other countries. In NW Washington, there are 117 clubs.
“Because Kids Matter to God”, Brion and Connie Frakes are serving The Lord as full time
missionaries with Awana in Northwest Washington. We are so thankful for the disciplined training
in the Scriptures that takes place weekly in the lives of our own youth and Awana workers at Christ’s Church.

world through the local church by providing Bible-based, Christ-centered weekly club programs and training leadership.

- To build effective ministry teams for the local area serving the purpose of increasing ministry to local churches.
- To strengthen existing clubs and programs (i.e.; club evaluations, club speaking, problem
solving, and pulpit supply). Consult with pastors, commanders, and leaders. - To plan, promote, and conduct multi-club and multi-church events for children and youth
(i.e.: Olympics, Bible Quiz, and Scholarship Camp). - To communicate with Awana International Headquarters by submitting monthly reports.

- To raise support for family and ministry needs. Awana missionaries are faith missionaries totally dependent on the gifts of God’s people for their living and ministry needs. They personally devote time to raising their support.
Prayer Requests:
- Pray the gospel message would continue to speak to the hearts of those who attend Awana clubs.
