Pastor Jeff has a passion for the Word of God and is committed to preaching faithfully from the Scriptures. Pastor Jeff has a heart to see people become fully devoted followers for Christ. He is a strong supporter of missions and participates in training Pastors in areas of the world where it is not affordable or available. Pastor Jeff serves and leads the flock with steadfastness and by example.

Family info: Kim and I have been married since December of 1992 and God has blessed us with four kids: Megan (93), JJ (95), Bobby (97), Annie (02).

Education: Graduated from Juanita High School (Kirkland) and received B.A. from Pacific Christian College, now Hope Intl University in Fullerton, CA.

Ministry Passion(s): Love to know, study and preach the truth.

Hobbies/Leisure Time activities: Love hanging out with the family, reading theology and playing any sports I can win.

Kodak moment: getting married to Kim, watching my first child Megan be born.

What makes me sad? glad? mad? Sad: Seeing people try to live without Christ.  Glad: Seeing people come to Christ and live for Him. Mad: False teachers.

Favorites:

  • Book(s): Anything theological…I like to read MacArthur, R.C. Sproul and other solid reformed thinkers minus their eschatology and paedobaptistic ramblings
  • Book of the Bible: It’s hard to pick just one, but I really like Revelation because it shows how we win in the end
  • Childhood memory: Lots of them, but one is flying by helicopter my senior year with my dad to a remote frozen lake in the Cascades and ice skating
  • Food(s)/Snack(s)/beverage: Food: Meat and potatoes. Snack: Buttered popcorn.  Drinks:  Sweet tea and Dr. Pepper
  • Music/Musician: I love contemporary worship songs and selected old hymns, but do not like country music (even though my family does, but I’m praying for their repentance)
  • Movie(s): Any true sports movie and I loved The Fugitive with Harrison Ford
  • TV show: Loved 24, Sportcenter and FOX News
  • Sports & SportsTeam(s): Seattle teams, Washington Huskies, Florida Gators (lived there), Oklahoma Sooners (born there) and Boston Celtics
  • Northwest Get-away: Cresent Bar in Eastern Washington and Spokane Hoopfest
  • Local Restaurant: Spaghetti Factory
