Christ's Church

Pastor Jerry shepherds the heart of children and their parents as he brings the practical application of God's word to an age appropriate level for the kids of Christ's Church. Jerry has developed curriculum that is used at CCFW and other churches also (including Re:Hope, in Scotland). His energy and creativity motivates the children to attend church on Sundays, to learn about Christ, and to commit to serving Him in the world they live in.

Family Info:  Married to Jennifer June 29, 1985.  Four children: Brittany (married to Micah), Adam, Austin, Ana.

Education:  Arizona State University (Business), Control Data Institute (Software Development), Liberty University (Bible).

Ministry Passion(s):  Through preaching, teaching and training, I desire to educate, equip, and encourage kids, parents, and partners in ministry.  I want to see kids establishing foundational truths and habits that will allow them to stand firm in their teen years.

Hobbies/Leisure Time Activities:  Time with the family, home projects, cooking, basketball.

Kodak Moment:  Dinner together around the table; a lost value that we treasure and protect.

What makes me sad? glad? mad? Sad?  Fixable marriages calling it quits. Glad? A strawberry smoothie after a good workout. Mad? Government indoctrination of immoral values in our public school system, society and laws.

• Musicians: Chris Tomlin, Lincoln Brewster, Billy Joel, Toby Mac, Susan Ashton, and yes…Amy Grant.  I like songs with lyrical depth and thought-provoking structure
• Movie(s): The Miracle, Hoosiers, Toy Story 3, Cinderella Man…too many more to mention
• TV Shows: Don’t watch TV, but all time favorite is Seinfeld
• Sports & sports teams:  Football is my favorite to watch, basketball is my favorite to play.  I like the Seattle teams, but my home teams are Boston (Celtics, Patriots, Red Sox)
• Northwest Getaway: Any bed-n-breakfast we ‘haven’t’ been to yet
