Year Began at CC: Student Ministries intern in 1990; joined staff in 1991 (initially as the children’s pastor).

Brief family info (spouse, children): Married Jamie in 1993. We have four sons: Connor (born in ’97), Carson (’99), Colton (’01), and Cooper (’03).

Education: Completed One-Year Certificate Program at California Center for Biblical Studies (Culver City, CA, 1981); B.A. in Communications from the University of Washington (’86); Biblical Counseling Certification from The National Association of Nouthetic Counselors (’06).

Ministry Passion(s): discipleship, biblical counseling, serving the body of Christ.

Hobbies/Leisure Time activities: basketball, photography, the beach, watching my boys’ sports.

What makes me sad? glad? mad?  Sad: Joy-less marriages. Glad:Forgiveness. Mad:  Blameshifting.
