Our Mission
Christ’s Church exists to passionately develop fully devoted
followers of Jesus Christ by:
- EXALTING the Lord in Worship
- EXPRESSING the truth of Jesus Christ through our Witness
- EDIFYING believers with the Word
- EQUIPPING believers to do the Work of the ministry
to impact our world before He returns.
Christ's Church is a non-denominational church charged by God to teach "sound doctrine". Our desire is to faithfully communicate God's truth as revealed in His Word to everyone. We desire to hold tenaciously to the essential doctrines and to be charitable in those areas that are non-essential to our saving faith.
We believe in:
God. We believe in one living God (Isaiah 45:5-7) who is eternally Self-existent (Exodus 3:14) and is by nature three distinct Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). He has created all things (Genesis 1:1) through His Son (Hebrews 1:2) by the power of His Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:2).
Jesus. We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God (John 10:30-33) who took on human flesh through a virgin birth (Matthew 1:22-25). He lived a sinless life (Hebrews 4:15), died a substitutionary death for our sin (I Peter 2:24), was buried and physically rose from the dead (I Corinthians 15:3-4) and ascended to heaven to sit at the right hand of His Father in glory (Hebrews 1:3). He is now interceding for those who believe in Him (Hebrews 7:25).
Man. We believe that God created man in His own image (Genesis 1:26-28). Because of Adam’s sinful rebellion against God, all men are sinners by nature (Psalm 51:5) and by choice (Romans 3:23). Man’s sinful condition results in spiritual death (Romans 6:23) and separation from God (Isaiah 59:2) without any ability to do what is acceptable to God.
