Refuge class is for anyone seeking hope and help for a struggle against an ongoing sin or prolonged suffering. Our aim is to love and lead hurting people to Christ and to the Word of God. Some churches offer 12-step programs and support groups that address specific issues like substance abuse, divorce recovery, grief, etc. While those types of ministries may provide some help, Refuge will focus on the heart of each person instead of their specific struggle. If you’ve lost our way or just need encouragement and a renewed focus on God’s Word to get through a tough season in your life—join us.
Maybe you know someone who needs help. Come find out how you can make a difference while examining your own heart and growing in your own faith along the way.
Topics include: Admitting Your Need... Embracing God’s Mercy... What Rules Your Heart... Finding Freedom... Connected to Christ... Living by the Spirit... Suffering Well... Forgiveness... Leaning In... Comforting Others. “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)
“All In: Is Adoption for Me?” starts April 22, 8:30am.
