Craig & Sharon Lofthus - The Father's Ranch
Craig is the Executive Director of The Father’s Ranch Ministries located in Tonasket, WA.  He was born and raised in Des Moines, WA.  He is a 1991 graduate of Seattle Pacific University where he attained his B.A. degree in Communication.  He married his high-school sweetheart Sharon, immediately following graduation.  He then began a career as a Rehabilitation Counselor for the State of Washington in a maximum security incarceration facility.  He also served high school and collegiate aged young adults as an associate pastor in south Seattle.
It was during these 7 years of service with the state that he discovered the world had nothing to offer these inmates that would promote real and lasting change in their lives.  At the same time, Craig discovered the power and sufficiency of the Scriptures and the effectiveness of Biblical Counseling (Colossians 2:9, 10.)
With 5 children in tow, the Lord led Craig and his wife Sharon to begin a residential, Biblical counseling ministry in Eastern Washington that would serve women and girls struggling with life-dominating problems such as drug and alcohol addictions, eating disorders, and emotional/behavioral problems.  The Father’s Ranch Ministries was born in the fall of 2001.
In the spring of 2009 Craig opened the Biblical Counseling Center of Okanogan (BCCO), a non-residential Biblical counseling service that offers help and hope for those in their local community.  Craig and Sharon, along with a board of directors, continue to provide oversight for the ministries of TFR today.
Craig attained an M.A. in Biblical Counseling in 2012 and an M-Div. in 2013.  He is a certified Biblical Counselor through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (formally NANC), and through the International Association of Biblical Counselors (IABC).  Craig serves his local church (Tonasket Bible Church) as an elder and enjoys preaching and teaching at various churches, conferences and Bible camps around the Pacific Northwest.
Craig and Sharon have 6 wonderful children:  Joshua together with his wife Lauren, Jeremiah, Caleb, Zachariah, and Faith.  They enjoy camping, hunting, fishing, exploring the great outdoors, watching sporting events and old classic movies together as a family.  Craig’s life verse is found in the book of Jeremiah chapter 17 verses 7 & 8…“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him.  He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream.  It does not fear when the heat comes; its leaves are always green.  It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”
