Christ’s Church exists to glorify God by making more and better disciples of Jesus Christ, through intentional relationships.
Core Values
1. Communicate Truth
We value Scripture as our ultimate authority and our responsibility to share its truth with others.
“All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
2. Cultivate Relationships
We value investing in others for accountability and care as we grow together in Christ.
“Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality.” (Romans 12:10-13)
3. Multiply Influence
We value helping other believers grow in their faith and become better disciples of Jesus Christ.
“The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” (2 Timothy 2:2)
4. Pursue the Unchurched
We value sharing the gospel and living out its message in our spheres of influence.
“Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving; praying at the same time for us as well, that God will open up to us a door for the word, so that we may speak forth the mystery of Christ, for which I have also been imprisoned; that I may make it clear in the way I ought to speak. Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.” (Colossians 4:2-6)
5. Serve Others
We value using our spiritual gifts to benefit the body of Christ and others in need.
“Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.” (Galatians 6:9-10)
