problems, solutions & hope.

PROBLEMS |  Life can be difficult and complicated. Our relationships, marriages, families, health, finances, jobs and an endless list of challenges can seem overwhelming at times. Perhaps you or someone you care about has reached a point where problems are taking a toll. You could be suffering due to circumstances beyond your control. Or your difficulties could be the result of choices. We make choices that affect us and affect others for good or for bad. Others make choices that affect us for good or for bad. The Bible calls wrong choices sin. The Bible tells us that we have all sinned.

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

SOLUTIONS |  God has solutions. The One who created us knows us best. He knows exactly what we need. God wrote a book to guide us through the challenges we face in life. The Bible gives us the wisdom and tools we need to overcome even our most difficult problems. Through Jesus Christ, God solved the problem of our sin. While we were sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). This is where our hope starts. And we are not alone. God gave us each other and the ultimate Counselor, The Holy Spirit “so that He may be with you forever—the Spirit of truth. He stays with you and will be in you”

"And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, 17even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you." John 14:16, 17

HOPE  |  God is the God of hope. The hope of the Bible is not a wish; it is a confident expectation. God is unchanging and faithful. His promises never fail. Romans 15:4 says “through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we may have hope.” The world gives plenty of advice for overcoming problems. Only God’s Word is certain. “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17). God’s solutions to our problems are found in His Word, the Bible. By allowing another believer to come alongside you and help you understand and apply biblical truth to your situation, you will begin to see God’s solutions for your problems. You will experience peace and hope. You will become more and more like Jesus Christ, you will bring Glory to God, and you will enjoy a growing relationship with Him.

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17

THE GOAL  |  Biblical counseling is people helping people. Our goal is to understand and apply God’s Word to your specific needs in order that you might become a more fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ and experience his best for your life. We are committed to the sufficiency of the Scriptures, the Holy Spirit, and a personal relationship with Christ, as the means to overcoming whatever challenges and problems you face. We are committed to helping you through and in the environment of the local church. We are committed to training mature believers in the application of the Word of God, so that they can lovingly help you find God’s solutions to your problems.
