Think Deeply About the Cross
Take a moment and read through some very profound words about the incomparable cross work of Jesus Christ.
“For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” Paul in 1 Corinthians 1:18
“Come, and see the victories of the cross. Christ’s wounds are thy healings, His agonies thy repose, His conflicts thy conquests, His groans thy songs, His pains thine ease, His shame thy glory, His death thy life, His sufferings thy salvation.” Matthew Henry (1662–1714)
“There is no tribunal so magnificent, no throne so stately, no show of triumph so distinguished, no chariot so elevated, as is the cross on which Christ hath subdued death and the devil.” John Calvin (1509–1564)

The Sufficiency of Scripture
by Stephen Janho
The doctrine of the sufficiency of Scripture isn’t just under attack in our churches, campus lecture halls, conferences, or in the workplace. It is also under attack every day in our hearts when we fail to take God at His word, when we turn to other things, or when we trust in man-centered reasoning instead of seeking to find our refuge and strength in His all-sufficient Word. Scripture speaks of being enough (capacity) and having the means to accomplish that which God has intended it to accomplish. First, it is intended to be the means through which we can be saved (Romans 10:17),

Why you should read the entire Bible this year....
We all know the Bible is absolutely vital to our spiritual life and health. We have heard and read Scriptures like “In the exercise of His will He brought us forth by the word of truth” (James 1:18), and “But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves” (James 1:22).
We say, "Amen! Hallelujah!" and commit passionately to read our Bibles every day.
